Visiting Mirage 3D Accomodations
Holiday Centre "Mirage" had the chance to use a new technology to show their accomodations to its clients, giving the opportunity to visit them in a funny and comfortable way, because they can do that directly by their own homes.
We're talking about "Second Life"®, a virtual 3D world in which, using an alter ego called "avatar", everyone can walk, chat or talk with other users and visit places made by other users.
Pioneers in using new technologies, the managers of "Mirage" accepted with pleasure the proposal of their Art Director, Mr. Marco Orlandoni who, together with Dr. Lorenzo Renzulli - with whom made CatalogoSitiWeb.it, project that also takes care to realize 3D buildings in Second Life - proposed them to build into Second Life 10 types of accomodations of Touristic Village Mirage, receiving suggestion to make the accomodations very close to the real ones (high quality details) and fully working, and this means doors and windows can be opened, curtains can be moved and it's possible to sit on chairs, so people can "check" them even before live in them.
Work has been done, and it's ready to be used. Enjoy the virtual visit!

Note: by clicking on the SLUrl link, a new window will appear, then click on the orange button "TELEPORT" in the Google-map, so to obtain a teleport-window in-world (you have to be logged in Second Life to get the teleport-window).
Once reached the stand of Mirageyou just have to use the teleport-plate in front of it to reach the exposition area for the 3D Accomodations (in that area you'll find further instructions on how to use the 3D accomodations remote control).
